Holds a Bachelor’s degree in law from the University of London and a Barrister-at-Law professional qualification from the Sierra Leone Law School.
Barrister Forster’s experience is in both the private and public sector in The Gambia and is currently a member of the Board of the National Audit Office. He is well versed in Gambian law on the appropriation of land for public purposes.
His experience In private practice spans over complex land matters in The Gambia involving joint or co-owners or multiple interests, inheritance and administration of estates with a wealth of experience in areas of Pubic Law (i.e. Constitutional and Administrative law matters) and in the setting up and incorporation of businesses along with Commercial Law
His areas of practice and competence include Corporate and Commercial Law, Partnerships, Succession Wills & Administration of Estates, Real Property and Conveyance, Patents and Trade Mark Registration and Enforcement, Labour/Employment Law, Litigation and Recovery, Taxation, and limited criminal matters.
