Benjamin A. Roberts, Founding Partner, The Business Edge Group, holds a double Master’s Degree in Industrial Strategy & Trade Policy and International Economics from the University of Manchester and the National University of Singapore, respectively.  He holds a BSBA undergraduate degree in Finance & Economics from Missouri Western State University.  He is certified on the Ghana Stock Exchange with work experiences in the United States of America, Ghana, and The Gambia.  A former Corporate and Wholesale Banker, he has served in capacities as Chief Dealer, Relationship Manager, Credit Analyst, Head of Credit, and Associate Director at Standard Chartered Bank.  He worked with The Gambia Investment & Export Promotion Agency as Director, Business & Export Development before serving as the Director General of the Gambia Tourism Board.  He was in 2014 September appointed as Minister of State responsible for the Tourism & Culture Portfolio.  A position he served in for over two years before founding The Business Edge Group.
