Dr. Burang Goree-Ndiaye is a Senior Lecturer at the University of The Gambia, a position he has held since 2012. He holds a B. A. Hons. degree from University of Cape Coast, Ghana ; an M.Ed. degree from Kent State University, Ohio, USA; and a Ph.D. degree from University of Iowa, Iowa, USA. He is a certified Program Management specialist with certification from the University of Connecticut, USA and is also certified by the National Accreditation and Quality Assurance Agency [NAQAA] of The Gambia as a Trainer in Management and Business Communication.
He is an experienced educationist, researcher, consultant and trainer. Institutions and organizations which have benefitted from his knowledge and expertise, in the form of consultancies and training, include The Gambia’s Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education, Ministry of Finance and Economic Affairs, National Nutrition Agency [NaNA], UNICEF-The Gambia Office, UNECA, UNESCO’s BADEA Office, The Commonwealth Foundation, The World Bank, and The African Development Bank, amongst others.
Dr. Goree-Ndiaye has served in various public and private establishments, which include the Gambia Competition and Consumer Protection Commission [GCCPC], Boards of educational institutions, and an insurance company.
His areas of interest and expertise are in Strategic Leadership and Management; Policy Development; Implementation, Evaluation and Review; and Communication Skills Development.
